Principal Investigator
Aging is a highly pleiotropic trait that is associated with many seemingly unrelated phenotypes. Anastasia is interested in systematically investigating the relationships between age-associated phenotypes and their genetic components in an attempt to uncover the molecular mechanisms, both common and unique, that determine them.
Prior to Calico, Anastasia was a Principal Investigator and Lewis-Sigler Fellow at Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics at Princeton University. At Princeton, she worked primarily on the global analysis of large-scale phenotypic surveys of single and double mutants in the model yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
