Principal Investigator

Ari’s research focuses on identifying and validating novel therapeutic targets and strategies for the treatment of cancer.

About

A primary driver of the Firestone Lab’s work is the computational mining of large-scale functional genomics and phenotypic small-molecule screens to identify selective vulnerabilities in definable cancer subtypes.

Prior to joining Calico, Ari completed a postdoc in Kevin Shannon’s laboratory at the University of California at San Francisco working on novel strategies for targeting NRAS mutant hematological malignancies.
