Jun focuses on developing robust representation of biological states from high throughput measurements and building models to understand the transition among the states.
Prior to joining Calico, he worked as Principal Scientist in the bioinformatics group at Procter & Gamble, where he analyzed the genomes of dandruff causing fungus and contributed to the understanding of the mechanism of action of zinc pyrithione for its antifungal activity.
